WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Opus Agency seeks a Creative Producer to support our portfolio of live events, expos and activations from concept through onsite execution. The Creative Producer will manage and own the creative media and assets on virtual, live and hybrid events. This role sits within our production team and bridges the gap between Creative and Production as well as supports the creative holistically across projects and multiple workstreams.

The Creative Producer supports the design and development of all aspects of our creative offerings.  The Creative Producer is responsible for budgeting, timelines/work back schedules, project team management, client relations, vendor management and the day-to-day implementation of the creative deliverables. Such deliverables could include concepting and brand ID, attendee journey design, Expo layout, scenic design, signage and branding, furniture, video and media, content development and more. The Creative Producer may manage multiple work streams, and ensures adherence to Opus process and client brand guidelines.

Successful candidates will be able to quickly and creatively resolve issues, make thoughtful recommendations, be an effective team member, and provide creative production support for all types of events. Must be results oriented, clear communicator, detail focused, able to meet demanding deadlines and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

 

YOU SHOULD HAVE

        5+ years of experience managing creative projects

        Microsoft Office suite, Google Suite & Drive, AirTable and/or Quip program experience preferred; Monday.com experience is a bonus

        Experience presenting and supporting concepts to internal and external teams and clients

        Ability to work independently, in a team, and as a report to a project lead

        Ability to support and work collaboratively with different workstyles, teams, clients seamlessly

        Successfully perform in a high stress, fast-paced environment

        Accept changes with short notice and tolerate frequent interruptions

        Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality  

        Thrive on collaboration with team members

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

        Support the creative team as needed from a logistical standpoint.

        Advocate for client creative needs with the team understanding the budget and information needed to support from a production standpoint.

        Manage client in partnership with the Creative Director and Executive Producer

        Direct client communication to assure team can focus on the deliverables and ensure communication is organized and responsive

        Respect and understand the creative process on a project

        Track all creative deliverables through team tools and in accordance with client needs.

        Communicate clearly with team members and clients

        Be the connective tissue holistically and know the project inside and out to ensure successful results

        Create and manage approved budget, tracking all related financials related to project and/or workstream

        Set timelines and associated milestones for all projects, integrating with other service lines when required

        Drive process and timeline with internal and client teams for creative design, reviews, and approvals AND vendor partners on deadlines, proofs, final file delivery and onsite execution

        Establish good relations with vendors and work with vendors in securing needed materials on time, within budget and meeting requested specifications.

        Report weekly to project lead on all updates including team hours, budget changes and updates

        Manage internal and client facing documents including but not limited to: signage grids, signage plans, integrated space plans, attendee journey docs, furniture grids, etc.

        Lead internal and external meetings, take notes, set agendas, follow up on action items for the creative team

        Go above and beyond to ensure client and company success

        Effectively manage a high volume of work and consistently provide a high quality of work output

        Utilize creative problem solving all along the planning cycle, consistently looking for ways to deliver more effectively

        Review creative layouts with the Creative Director or Creative Lead and collectively provide feedback

        Manage approved scope of project and notify team of any scope changes

        Manage timeline and workback; communicate changes to the team and clients when necessary - keep the creative team on track; set and meet expectations with clients

        Communicate with Executive Producer weekly on budget updates and when change orders are necessary

        Communicate with the Resourcing team when (budgeted) creative resources are needed

        Set up and lead internal creative review meetings between the project team (prior to client calls)

        Communicate with client the status of creative deliverables

        Identify and track when a new resource is needed to support the deliverable. (Copywriter, Graphics, Animations, UX/UI, Etc.)

        Manage legal reviews as necessary

        Support creative budget reconciliation

        Project wrap and archive content

HOW WE’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU

 

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting salary for this role is between $90,000-$110,000. Our salary ranges are based on third-party national average market compensation analysis. The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
